Myrddin: a small essay

            Myrddin: a small essay

*

.*.

Etymologically

*

Myr- Sea

Dyn: Fortresss

*

Myrddin: Sea Fortress

*

.*.

The Origins

*

*

This great figure represents ultimate power , higher source given used for the greater good despite the crushing and tempting responsibility to keep and use the power in a Godly way

.*.

The Origins of the Myth

*

*

Of Welsh, celtic ascent this great figure represents ultimate power that must be channeled for an end greater than the mere ego

Why does the myth of Myrddin strikes us as an amazing saga

.*.

Possibly because it moves an eternal fibre in the human heart and general psyche in which :

*

Nobility

Courage

Humanism

Compassion

Resilience

Great power (thus greater responsibility)

Righteousness

The Inner/Outer hero's journey

*

Are aligned in a mythical , almost mythological and cosmogonical and Astrotheological ways : thus the Myrddin persona & figure

*

As Orpheus in another timeline and structure the Bard is a Mage and Sage

.*.

*

The Scald is a powerful being that molds matter according to Great Source for the Great Work: the Great Work Of Cosmic Reintegration

*

The Alchemical Substantiation.

*

The Godly Transmutation

*

Are very few of those processes to be mentionne herein non exhaustively

.*.

Narrative wise:

*

*

Narratively,

Myrddin having the great responsibility to advise, protect , look out for the once and future King Arthur, king of the great and eternal ALBION, he is "the" secret pillar on which the order/ balance/ Ma'at/ harmony the kingdoms of Albion and most especially that of Camelot is assured

*

Myrddin & Arthur are the two dided coin both invested in the same endeavor and design: the greater good , the visible face of power, thus temporal : Arthur

.*.

*

The less visible face of power, thus more atemporal and subtle : Myrrdin. Hidden, power of pillar, subtly revealed as possibly aeternal .

*

Two timelines enmesh (possibly more), two kingdoms(possibly more) , yet interdependent , synergistic towards a common goal: the upkeep and safekeeping of the realm (s)

*

Symbology:

.*.

*

"Though the Protocols to get to the way may differ & vary the Way in essence remains One."

*

In the human psyche it would be safe to say that Myrrdin represents the Mystery and the Mysterious Force that binds all into existence, the tapestry and web of life  expressing itself through a carefully chosen vessel of honor herein regardless may it be not only Myrddin nor Arthur but no less important figures such as Percival, Guinevere, Lancelot and other key protagonists of the tale and Lore  and also outside the fixed Myrddin Lore such as astoundingly great & unforgettable figures as

In short,

*

*

In fine,

as a matter of conclusion, if such vast matters maybe closed

.*.

*

Myrddin

A tale

Sometimes

Anchored

In the 5 th

.*.

Sometimes the 11 th century

Wherein timelines timeless are

Difficult to distinguish

Disentangle

Faithful to the magical nature and DNA of the tale

.*.

A tale of a great seer , knower, the Wise MAN figure that achieves amazing and otherworldly miracles to assist a great King in his personal assignment of insuring. Order & Justice to the governed Realms thus insuring himself and. His lineage a legacy to transmit and to impart to the Great ALBION

*

That tale has a je-ne-sais-quoi that keeps inspiring us beyond the Womb of times and places and centuries and the distance in between pointing at the subtle Greatness hidden in the very midst of that foundational cardinal tale of the human psyche
