What I owe to the Buddha
What I owe to the Buddha
The Buddha essentially taught me two things:
Wrong desire creates , suffering and unrest , suffering & unrest, accumulating creates pure hell
Right desire creates Pure bliss, And Pure bliss, accumulated creates PURE HEAVEN, Nirvana, absence of Pain & Thus absence of desire. Fulfillment
Fulfillment for once didn’t resemble something ready made
But something, unknown, for unknowable, unorganized, untamed
FREE.
Thus , JOY without Object
The Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama Shakyamuni, the Great Kshatriya, Prince of opulence, and the Sadhu, the Great Scholar, taught me, taught us, taught the sangha, the lineage of the Bodhisattvas, without any hierarchy, but forever expanding, growing, in light , in knowledge, in compassion,
That:
COMPASSION is the remedy to human suffering, and spiritual healing belongs to the teaching, the Dharma
I owe the Buddha, Dharma and the Noble Eightfold Path, of Kindness, self possession, Compassion, discipline, simplicity.
And the simple notion that our mind must be trained, therefore, eureka, we realize we are not merely our minds, but the commanders of IT , a Revolution, it seems simple and basic but unknown before.
The Mind must be trained because the Mind is a space of pure constant activity, activity without goal, activity without direction, activity self misdirected, and by some experience, ever constant practice of calming the mind and its ever present chatter. And instill the seeds of serene silence, golden peace. The peace of the Still & Righteous.
And through that peace regained, expresses the best potential of the enlightened human being, universally , through, metta, compassion, grace, agape, kindness, etc. Universally.
And here comes the importance of the SANGHA, the Brotherhood of Light.
Brothers who through the Buddha, as an example of both ordinary and extraordinary human living , give us the gift of perfect understanding, without personal judgment, nor condemnation
And through the mirror dimly, the light shines out and we connect in a lace of universal altruistic Brotherhood of Benevolence
Buddha taught one, benevolence, mindfulness, kindness, good will ignoring all costs of difficulty.
Buddha taught me self discipline and a critical mind.
Not through the lens of bitterness, passion, complexes, rages, harsh words and behaviors, and all kinds of mental passions untamed.
HE pointed out the logic .
But be alive in the wonders of your Alive Intuition
Forgiveness, Freedom through Forgiveness
And the beginning of a dimly felt redemption , atonement through grace, the Ist true grace
Then,
Buddha led me to Christ . and Christ understood Buddha

Yearning for a green autumn
Abide the silks of stillness
Mangroves of velvet
United compasses of Rigor and Imagination

Discretion is the Way of the Stealthy warrior of Light
To avoid evil, do good, and honor the sanctity of the Saints and honor the Great I AM, lowkey
Is the Way of the discrete Jedi of the House of El

Pristine
To keep One unscathed
What is reasoning, an attempt to keep sand in one's hand, indefinitely
For whom the Lord loves, he corrects
Experience is neutral at best, at worst, benevolent, meaning no harm, but in the process of acquiring, there surely be certain groans and growing pains on the path to the PIllars of Wisdom.
IV
The Buddha taught me the quintessential constituents of the Èhuman conditionÈ
,; unavoidable suffering, death, sickness, hunger, management of desire thus flesh, the carnal impulses and drives, the quest for a moral compass, being faithful to that moral compass, once found, til the Death, unwaveringly. The Directive Principle of Oneès Being, all encompassing, the Higher Self.
V
The Buddha taught me the rudiments of the human condition, and that is the substance from which the eponymous titled book. Could not have been conceived outside out the spectrum that it offers;
Death, Malady, Fear Hate, envy, hunger, superstition, harsh words and judgment, unsound obsessions , rejection, darkness, ignorance, cowardice, messy mental and sluggish negative meaning
VS.
Hope, faith, health, Joy, compassion, discipline, progress, enlightenment, Reason, clarity, orderliness, , sound mind, stillness, abundance, influence,, acceptance, Love, light, , knowledge, bravery, nobility, clear positive thinking
The constant and eternal clash between the two sides of the coin of life.
THe Human condition, a battle that no man escapes,
That all humans are constrained to play
The inevitable dealing of that riddle, whether you like it, dislike it, or are indifferent to its melody.
Buddha taught me, it should not always, all times be a BATTLE, a battleground, but a playful and colorful garden in which beautiful roses and flowers may bloom with a certain discipline and pure intent

Om namo Buddha
5. Sky Is Free
Sky is free.
Ocean is blissful.
Trees are divine.
Rocks are enlightened.
So are we.
Who is still searching….
For what?
- Anam Thubten Rinpoche
8. Harmony
We reverently pray for eternal harmony in the universe.
May the weather be seasonable,
May the harvest be fruitful,
May countries exist in harmony,
And may all people enjoy happiness.

I take refuge in the Buddha.
I take refuge in the Dharma.
I take refuge in the Sangha.

Golden Chain
I am a link in Lord Buddha’s golden chain of love that stretches around the world.
I must keep my link bright and strong.
I will try to be kind and gentle to every living thing, and protect all who are weaker than myself.
I will try to think pure and beautiful thoughts, to say pure and beautiful words, and to do pure and beautiful deeds, knowing that what I do now depends on my happiness and misery.
May every link in Lord Buddha’s golden chain of love become bright and strong and may we all attain perfect peace. - Buddhist Prayer

The Eightfold Path
“This is the noble eightfold way, namely, right understanding, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right attention, right concentration, and right meditation.” — Shakyamuni Buddha at Deerpark
*
With the map and the territory, Buddha gave us the tools to circumnavigate the storms and bad weathers of the human condition and the bleak landscapes of the human mind, to tap into its positive value ressources by precisely being resourceful and purposeful.
*
I owe the Middle Path, the quest for the in middle, just measure,
*
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”
*
At a future time, when your body and mind are pure in conduct (Morality), and your mind is entirely focused and concentrated (Samatha), and you come to realize the wisdom (Panna) of the Emptiness of the Five Aggregates, you might have a sudden flash of insight (Vipassana). Then, realizations — or even Enlightenment — becomes possible. Once you achieve all of these things, possibly ………..Nibbana! (Nirvana!)
*
Prayer of Lovingkindness
May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be safe.
May all beings awaken to
the light of their true nature.
May all beings be free.
